I am unique in the dog training field as one who truly enjoys working with people and animals alike. Motivating people in my fitness training career has complemented the 25 years of my dog training experience.

After graduating from Moorpark College, with a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management, I worked in zoos, veterinary clinics, wildlife research facilities, animal shelters, and have raised several guide dog puppies. I am currently involved in rehabilitating  and training shelter dogs.

I compete in dog Obedience, Rally, Conformation and field retriever events - not for the ribbons or titles (I do have boxes full of them), but simply because it is FUN.

In my experience, I have found that  frustrated owner and misbehaving dog are both in need of the same thing: establishing communication (wouldn't it be nice if dogs understood our spoken words?), defining their relationship, and finding how each will feel rewarded in their learning efforts.
